My orignially scribbled in May/2010 blog titled: Divine, You Report From The Divine', in its now edit-expanded incarnation is getting the 'top of page' treatment. The original post is staying put.
IT IS ONLY BY ENTERING INTO COMMUNION WITH THE SUPREME BELOVED THAT ONE CAN COMPREHEND THE WORD / LOGOS
"Divine, you report from the Divine," message entered my awareness in Yogic-awake sleep state this AM hour - followed by a Vision of handsome man holding up two torches ablaze with White Flame.
Translation? A pretty straight-forward marching orders (Divine Guidance) 'Keep going, you're on the right track - fulfill your Soul's ancient longing. . .Fear not, the White Light torch bearer got your back'.
DOWN THE MEMORY LANE
One of the moost compelling mystical events stood out for me *time-frame circa 1998* because its 'walking orders' felt like a command. Description:
I knew I was standing on the last rung of a very tall ladder and a 'smart man' was standing next to it. . .and it felt reassuring. (bridging the heaven and earth motif). When I looked down, directly in front of my eyes a vision of two pure white 'moon slivers'. When I looked up, a vision of sky's star-studded canopy rushed over to the side. . .Next, a vision of Sun's brilliance swam into my focus - after which my attantion beheld a group of anhappy looking men. One began speaking to me. . .I heard 'garble', gut his 'pleading' body language spoke volumes. . .Next instant my gaze set it sight on the Sun again - a sudden movement on its right side (biblical theme-Jesus sits on God's right side') stratled me - and what happened next words can describe, but only frist-hand experience can comprehend the intensity of this type of Initiation. . .
A Vision of Dove's rapid descend towards me. . .With eyes closed now, and in full-bliss mode receiving Heart-filling Bliss essence and feeling its rippling-out influence/rays flowing into every fiber of my being. When I woke up in this dimention, tears of gratitude sealed this most precious 'deal.'
And I knew I will never look away from suffering.
For the reader not familiar with Christian mysticism brief note on the Dove's symbolic meaning. This archetype symbolizes the Holy Spirit by whose power alone hearts are penetrated by God's Grace. From New King James, John 1:32 "I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him."

IT IS NOT BU YOUR MIND THAT YOU CAN HOPE TO UNDERSTAND THE DIVINE AND ITS ACTION

"Surely for earth-consciousness the very fact that the Divine manifests himself is the greatest of all splendours. Consider the obsurity here and what it would be if the Divine did not directly intervene and the Light of Lights did not break out of obscurity - for that is the meaning of of the manifestation. An Incarnation is the Divine Consciousness and Being manifesting through the body. It is possible from any plane.
The Descending Power (Avatar) chooses its own place, body, time for manifestation. An Avatar, roughly speaking, is one who is conscious of the presence and the power of the Divine born in him or descended into him and governing from within his will and life action; he feels inwardly identified with divine power and presence. It is not by your mind that you can hope to understand the Divine and its action, but by the growth of a true and divine consciousnes within you. If the Divine were to unveil and reveal in all its glory, the mind might feel a Presence, but it would be not understand its action or its nature.
It is in the measure of your own reallisation and by brith and growth of the greater consciousness in yourself that you will see the Divine when he takes on a burden of terrestial disguises. I repeat, the Divine when he takes on aburden of terriestial nature, takes it fully, sincerely and without any conjuring tics or pretense."
From Letetrs on Yoga-2,p.420-23 on same theme:
"One may see or feel the prsence of the Divine or a Divine Power above the head or in the heart or any or all the centers, feel the presence, see the living form there; one may be governed by in all its actions, thoughts and feelings by it; one may lose one's separate personality in it, may identify and merge. But all that does not constitute an incarnation or emenation of the Divine or of the Power.
These are universal experiences to which any Yogi may arrive; to reach this condition with relation is indeed a common object of Yoga. (Sri A is describing 'Union w/God via the Ascent - without the Descent of Divine Light (flowing out of Crown chakra) into world's hologram via subtle planes as described in The River of Light Revisited in April 2019, blog)
An incarnation is something more, something special and individual to the individual being. It is the substitution of the Person of a divine being for the human person and infiltration of it into all the movements so that there is a dynamic personal change in all of them and in the whole nature; not merely a change of the character of the consciousness or a general surrender into its hands, but a subtle intimate personal change."
CLOSING REFLECTION
Based on first-hand experiences I came to realize that every person's God-given mind is capable of spiritual awakening. . .Was it the Buddha who said somthing like: ' Everyone has the lamp of mind, but it is necessary to light it so that it shines'. It IS necessary to light it because mentality cannot know its nature. It can be known by the sppiritualised mind. Huston Smith affirms this for us:
"There is no way the finite is going to comprehend the Infinite on its own. It has to be the Infinite taking the inititiative, and that is the meaning of Revelation."
Once the power of mental awakening has been awakened, it can be renewed and deepened without limit. . .Once one's etrnal self-Soul's awareness is awakened, the individual is capable of endless source of intuition, creativity and inspiration.
Performing the Will of the One Spirit is not an option for one who transends all power offices to become one with the source of all power. Our 'walking orders' is about meeting the world's great need. Our moral duty is is to obey the inner call of our vocation by sharing Grace-bestowed testimoniies and show that the Kosmic addrees we write from has a built-in, non-fail rigor built into its structure. This 'Structure' is 'built' by the Supreme Intelligence and its Conscious Force. . . Out Intention is to inspire and upliift others by showing our Deoth data's empirically verified Validity is not a product of subconscious mind's dive into its dream-like formations, or drug-induced halucinations. It is our duty to disclose we are more than what the Materialist would have us believe.
