Genuine Mystic Walks the Talk

Few months ago 'educated' man (on FB) who thinks he is spiritually enlightenened, informed me: 'you have no right to boast about spiritual experiences', insisted, the reason I do it is because I crave attention due to my parents' negelect and ardently urged to, "find someone who can help you with that". . .again and again asserted, "there is nothing to attain" since everything is "THAT" (his caps). . .this pride-mind told me he "worked" with me to make me see what real spiritual enlightenment is.

Let's see what Aeschylous 'walking orders' are for those who attained something the pride-mind has no choice but reject:
"It is the nature of the crowd to fear and misconsture whatever is truly great. It is the business of the crowd to spew derision on great things, wherever they touch them, even as the shallow tide swills upon the foot of a majestic cliff. Those who scale such heights must take care on looking back; every backwards glance is a downward glance, which risks plunging the climber's mind into a vertigo of confusion and doubt. Those who reach the summit are blissfuly deaf to the curses of the crowd, which die away far behind, below them. It is not wise to recognize their bloated claims, from the beginning, not tarry with them, even a short while, in wasteful conversation, which often appear as friendly provocations but turn spiteful soon enough.
Do not suppose they can be satisfied by an appeal to noble impulses, hard evidence, or genius arguments. Simply put, they are determined not to strive; thus the more uplifting your motivations, the readier they are to imagine fault in them. The crowd cannot help themselves. Compelled to fuss over every jagged point, they want nothing more than to drag all loftier spirits down with them, into the muck of lowly disputations.
Triumph, as they know it, would be their won failure validated by the failure of all others. Equally of the bottom of the pit is their own notion of a high ideal. Their insistence on discussing great matters is a farce, since they care only for refuting greateness itself, and bringing glory into disrepute. Loath to follow any line of reasoning beyond the first paltry objection, nontheless, they will not suffer a peaceful end in dialogue, but will continually alter the angle of attack. * Ideed, 'twas the silly man who said he "likes dharma duelling" with me, until he didn't and began attacking my character.*

When, after humoring them, and seeing that they refuse to go further, you do resolve to end the converastion, and continue on your way, they will say that it is you who lack the stomach for a spiritual debate. Such is the matter of crowds, and all persons who have given up their personal development, in order to think in common, with one, degenerated mind. Guard, therefore, your mind.
(Skip) If you could be wise, and someday stroll upon the bluffs, in a finer company of souls, then say your peace but once - twice, at most - and say no more. Let them bristle and slander as they will, casting about with a hundred , crooked curses, but finding no hollow to hook in you."

Let's see what Aurobindo wrote on seeing the value in what we/genuine mystic share:

"The Yoga we practice is not for ourselves alone, but for the Divine; its aim is to work out the will of the Divine in the world, to affect a spiritual transformation and to bring down a divine nature and a divine life into the mental, vital and physical nature and life of humanity. Its object is not personal Mukti, although Mukti is a necessary condition of the yoga, but the liberation and transformation of the human being. It is not personal Ananda, but the bringing down of the divine Ananda - Christ's kingdom of heaven, our Satyayuga - upon earth." +
"The true knowledge and descriptioon must be left to the language of the mystic and the figures, at once more vivid and more recondite, of a direct experience." +
"Do not be eager for spiritual experiences; for experiences you can always get, having once broken the barrier between the physical mind and the subtle planes. What you have to aspire for most is the improved quality of the recipient consciousness in you, discrimination of the mind, the unattached impersonal Witness look on all that goes on in you and around you, purity in the vital, calm equanimity, enduring patience, absence of pride and the sense of greateness - and more especially, the development of the psychic being in you - surrender, self-giving, psychic humility, devotion. It is a consciousness made up of these things, cast in this mould, that can bear without breaking, stumbling or deviation into error the rush of lights power and experiences from the supraphysical planes.
An entire perfection in those respects is hardly possible until the whole nature from the higher mind to the subconscient physical is made one in the light that is greater than the mind, but a sufficient foundation and a consciousness always self-observant, vigilant and growing in these things is indispensible - for perfect purification is the perfect Siddhi." (This) Last quote is from: intyoga.online.fr/exp-real,htm - previous quotes from, The Life Divine.

Let's see what The Tibetan Book of The Dead - Liberations Through Understanding In The Between *my book is pen-translated by Robert A.F. Thurman*, says about the 'voyager into the soul''s contribution to evolution of consciousness. From Glossary. . .

"psychonaut. A "voyager into the the soul," an apt term for the Buddhist adept, who voluntarily abandons the pseudo-security of this planet of delusion, with its solid ground of ordinary, individuated suffering, to launch herself through death-dissolutions into the subtle between-states to deepen her wisdom by exploring the unconscious and to expand her compassionate heroism by serving universes of beings on the subtle level, and then returns to the ordinary embodiment of the adept to assist her contemporaries."
P.S. I posted in Robert Thurman's Facebook page comment which included the experssion of gratitude for his work, ect., as well as 'fact-checking' link to one my riffs, and he 'liked' it.

Let's see in what sense descriptions of spiritual experiences are relevant - in Gopi Krishna's words from, Kundalini For The New Age.
"The men and women who have undergone this transformation and now have this expanded consciousness are known to be in the samadhi state of oneness with the cosmic consciousness. All the great mystics who have written on the subject have given their own symptoms openly and plainly. That is the tradition. And from their descriptions, one can compare one's own condition."

Seamless Robe of Light

Edit-expanded 2026-06-08

This blog unpacks from the post-enlightened stages - which transcends & includes the spiritual realization line - not only divinely unveiled knowledge of Divine Reality in all its aspects, but also the conviction what 'happened' to me, can happen to anyone who hears the Call and responds.

May whatever goodness arises from comprehending the subtlety of meaning couched within the written word. . .may it be for the benefit of all beings.

We know that the realm of the deepest Yogic attainemt is 'earned' by living a moral life, by selfless work (free of charge), by dealing with/healing psycho-emotional traumas & developmental needs. . .and when the 'what's in it for me' impulse disappears, the impulse to submit one's will to the Divine Will, and then invoking the Holy Spirit/the Goddess Kundalini/ Christ/ Kwan Yin, etcetera, for its 'Support', arises spontaneously.

The developmental stages can't be skipped - and what I bear witness to is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, because it is written from the: Immortal Being / Fully ascended Soul / the She whose veil no mortal has lifted, perspective.

I have a moral duty to obey the call of my vocation, but don't wish to convince anyone what I share is true. I don't wish to instruct others what to do/practice, because at this stage-attainment the Divine Grace is in 'charge'.
My intent in bearing witness to what happens on the Path without a map is to show / unpack decades worth of Yogic science data - not influenced by personal feelings, mind's dive into its subconscious, dream-like formations, or the use of psychedelics - but by multidimensional evolution into wholeness and transcendece confirmed by those who are qualified. Those, who know what needs to happen before one becomes 'ready' for the Descent - via the Crown chakra and felt in every fiber of one's being its essence - of Divine Peace, Force or Power, and Ananda.

What I bear witness to is true, because I see with flesh eyes the divine's Influence in a form of a vast aura-field of gold light around my head/body. My spiritual tribe shares the same conviction:
One who is on the threshold of divinity, not the human guru, not any academic, but the Divine Power and its Will has the power to rescue the Immortal/Divine Soul, from its lower nature.
Sri Aurobindo confirms for us:
"The gate of the supramental cannot be smashed open like that. The Adhar has to be steadily prepared, changed, made fit for the supramental Descent. There are several powers between the ordinary mind and the supramental and these must be opened up and absorbed by the consciousness - only then is the supramental change possible." - excerpt from: CWSA 23:3001.

My many years ago by 'fluke' discovered & already premanently established in 1994, and named 'Heavenly Robe' in a form of a vast Golden Light aura-field, and next to the skin, narrow band of Blue Light. . . for many days kept me busy checking (in certain lighting) if it was still there, till I got bored. I never heard of such a thing and thought one day I will discover in some esoteric book these Lights' significance. I shared with my Mama this 'discovery' (in person), and her reaction didn't surprize me: 'I don't know what that means but stop talking about it, it's scary".

Years passed before I saw Aurobindo's statements on what the various Lights (including 'diamond white', and 'silver ray'), symbolize: "Blue is Krishna's special and significant colour, the colour of his aura when he manifests - that is why he is called Nila Krishna. + Krishna is not the supramental Light. The descent of Krishna would mean the descent of the overmind Godhead preparing, though not itself actually, the desent of supermind and Ananda. Krishna is Anandamaya; he supports the evolution through the overmind leading towards Ananda".

I am happy to say that few years ago I chanced upon a video titled, "real human aura recordings" (measured by scientists) which includes the very much familiar to me (permanent) sound of a 'gold light frequency signature in the human bio-energy field'. . .But if someone were to ask me "does it sound this loud?", I would laugh and say, not even close -- not like the laboratory produced cranked up sound-volume. . . There are several Samdhis stages. I am in permanenet Smadhi, and what I hear right now is, is like sitting still inside a giant crystal sphere - and not only hearing, but feeling this frequency's spin within my interiority and around me.
In Deep Samadhi, I am aware of the sound-spin's extremely subtle sound - the kind of frequenct I could imagine the tiniest wind chimes made from finest crystal, would make. Literally . . . but cast in poetic language frame .
The Ultimate Samadhi. . .the She whose whose Veil no mortal has lifted, sees the Inexpressible Nameless Marvel and Eternity's Heart (Divine Revelations).
I can't post direct link to this video but the search engine will find it.

World's great wisdom traditions have differnt names for this Light Body, and today I am happy to quote from article penned by John White, titled: Enlightenment and the Body of Light, with descriptions for the 'Light Body' in different wisdom traditions.

Quote: "Some of the names given to the body of light are as follows:

* In the Judeo-Christian tradition, it is called "the resurrection body" and "the glorified body." The prophet Isaiah said, "The dead shall live, their bodies shal rise" (isa, 26:19). St, Paul called it "the celestial body" or "spiritual body".
* In Sufism it is called "the most sacred body" (wujud al-aquadas) and "supercelestial body" (jism asli haqiqi).
* In Taoism, it is called "the diamond body," and those who have attained it are called "the immortals" and "the cloudwalkers"."
* In Tibetan Buddhism it is called "the light body." * In Tantrism and some schools of yoga, it is called "the vajra body," "the adamantine body",: and "the divine body."
* In Kriya yoga it is called "the body of bliss."
* In Vedanta it is called "the superconductive body."
* In Gnosticisim and Neoplatism, it is called "the radiant body."
* In the alchemical tradition, the Emerald Tablet calls it "the Glory of the Whole Universe" and "the golden body." The alchemist Paracelsus called it "the astral body."
* In the Hermetic Corpus, it is called "the immortal body" (soma athanaton).
* In some mystery schools, it is called "the solar body."
* In Rosicrucianism, it is called "the diamond body of the temple of God."
* In Old Persia it was called "the indwelling divine potential" (fravashi or fravarti).
* In the Mithraic liturgy it was called "the perfect body" (soma teilion).
* In the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo, it is called "the divine body, : composed of supramental substance.
* In the philosophy of Teilhard de Chardin, it is called "the ultrahuman."

Further, John White writes: "The traditions speak of the process in different ways. Is the immortal body created or released, attained or manifested? Is it preexistent within the individual and the gross matter body simply "burnd" away? Or is the gross matter of the body altered through a process not yet recognized by physical science, which changes atoms of flesh into something unnamed on the Periodic Table Elements? Is there more than one route to the final, perfected form of the human body-mind? Is it necessary to actually die biologically, or is there an alternate path to the light body that bypasses physical death?
These are provocative questions which remain to be explored. However this state is achieved, the perfected individual is then capable of operating within ordinary space-time through that altered vehicle of consciousness which is immortal. That vehicle of consciousness is no longer carbon-based as is biological flesh. Rather, it is composed of a finer, more ethereal form of energy substance unknown to conventional physics, but long known to metaphysics and higher mysticism. That condition is, for the individual, the most exalted stage of higher human development; for humanity in general, it is the final stage of evolution."

So there we have it. Good questions - and one who attains the 'Immortal Soul' status, can answear in detail.
I tried to find John White on the internet and failed. I made several attempts to contact other (authors) scholars who study world's wisdom traditions and failed. I know already, even if I did find/made contact, they wouldn't be able with their mind's intellect accept my Depth data's conclusion. I have engaged few scholars who studied wisdom traditions in Facebook groups, who ended up blocking me for daring to defend my peer supprted conclusion. These men, in their podcast talks with like-minds say things like: 'it will be thousands of years before we know the ultimate truth.'
So, how dare I, a female, and a big nobody dares to bother the big shots with her 'stories?!

My peers have my back: From blog on 'Vidyas in the Upanishads' - in auromere.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/vidyas-in-the-Upanishads/ - the following quote absolutely makes sense to me:
"During the practive of Yoga, at some point the Purusha (Soul) disengages from Prakriti (body) and then stands apart and gains indifference from the sensations. When the Sun of higher consciousness establishes itself in the body, it unleashes the rays of fire which illuminate everything within. This power floods the senses with the nectar of Soma juice and then all contacts are turned into a feeling of bliss."

I am grateful for Sri Aurobindo's brilliance - he who knew that the Guardians of Light have a moral duty to obey the inner call of our vocation "in service to the Divine", no matter what! We crave not 'recognition' from anyone. . .We absolutely enjoy supporting like-minded 'Light Guardians'. Vivekananda has my back:
"Wisdom that comes directly from God and with the means that brings proof of God's reality through personal experience. + Experience is the only teacher we have. We may talk and reason all our lives, but we shall not understand a word of truth, until we experience it ourselves.".

Shabd Yoga Master, Kripal Singh confirms for us: "Those who have mastered this path have finally merged with the Supreme Lord in His Absolute, Nameless and Formless state. The Creator, the Absolute, projects itself into form that assumes two primary attributes: Light and Sound (Shabd, Word, or Naam) are primal manifestations of God when He projects Himself into creation. In His Nameless state He is neither light nor darkness, neither sound nor silence, but when He assumes shape and form, Light and Sound emerges as His primary attributes."

Will end this riff on something Aurobindo articulated for those of us who heard and responded to the call: "Trust the Divine Will and its Support." & "It is only divine love which can bear the burden I have to bear, that all have to bear who have sacrificed everything else to the aim of uplifting earth of its darkness towards the Divine. The Galileo-like 'I don't care' would not carry me one step; it would certainly not be divine. It is quite another thing that enables me to walk unweeping and unlamenting towards the goal." + "One cannot be said to be in the full Yogic condition - for the purpose of this Yoga - if one cannot take up with willingness any work given to one as an offering to the Divine."

Closing Words:
John White wrote (and I agree):
"(Thus) Jesus, properly understood, is not a vehicle for salvation, as fundamentalists claim, but a model of perfection drawing us beyond ego to the transpersonal and the mystical."
What JW wrote is true, but the last word as to what/who Jesus became, belongs to one who knows what Forces animated him. . .
Jesus was both human and Divine because his God-Realized Soul permanently asscended into the Divine/Immortal part of himself. He became inwardly aware of the Presence/Essence and Force-Power-Will of the omnipresent Supreme Divine. . .Jesus Christ *the Anointed One* is intimately involved in a world in a way that makes sense to one who comprehends the subtlety of meaning's significance couched within the verse penned in The Garland Sutra - on the 10th Power, the most secret and Sacred Glorious Mind (which even the "9th Power can't comprehend).

"Like rays of light they (immortals) appear everywhere while remaining silent and unmoving in concentration."
River of Light Revisited (2019/04) unpacks this topic.

Legacy of Eternal Value

Edit-improved 2026-01-25
The final Samadhi - the result of permanent union of the Soul with the Supreme Beloved's Power, Essence, and Will, (at the apex-point of her liberation) can't be reached by a thought clawing at the Golden Chalice, because its Elixir is not created on the earth plane. Mind which is guided by the spontaneous actions of the Beloved, realizes that the actual state of Liberation is Nirvana and Full Enlightenment. That Mind which attains the Stage of Coronation into Omniscience in all its aspects and beyond aspects, is uniquely qualified to declare that Divine Grace guides the process of inner transformation. We know that only Supramental consciousness is in direct communion with the Supreme Divine.
The domain where thought dissolves, can be accessed by anyone, anywhere, by one whose Karmic destiny becomes 'ripe' for it.

The process of ascension to ever-higher domains of supramental Reality is guided by an Intelligence which is beyond the intellect's grasp.
My spiritual peer, Aurobindo, wrote - and I second this statement with a resounding "YES!" - "The saint, the sage, the seer, the inspired man of action, the creator - these are the summits of being. Beyond him is the supramental being, the spiritual superman". . .I wrote YES! because I wrote few poems from the (still 'I-Thou') Saint level so I know the difference.

Soul's irreversible transformation results stand as Witness to Aurobindo's description what it's like to live in this state:
"In the Supramental, even the feelings and sensations do not give up any of their Truth, do not make mistakes or missteps, do not deviate from the right and the real, and can neither abuse beauty nor bliss, nor twist their divine straightness."

Guardians of Deep Mysteries whose Illimunation is grounded in multidimensional evolution into wholeness and transcendence, have a moral duty to obey the inner call of our vocation - because what we Know is TRUE. We Know it is TRUE, because during the Initiatory events, one sees with the eye of Spirit the Descent of Divine Light and feel in every fiber of one's being, its (transformatory) Infuence. . .What I don't want to do is to convince anyone what I share is true. I don't want to instruct others what to do/practice, because at this stage-attainment Divine Grace is in 'charge'.

One of the most blessed Soul-level events took place circa mid- 90's.
Brief description: I was alone in bed when I sensed a presence standing behind me and turned to see. . .and beheld a beautiful Woman tenderly gazing at me. I knew She was "ignored", and asked "What's your name?" . . ."Kwan Yin, do you like me?". . ."Oh yes" (telepathic communication). . .next instant She began walking towards the foot of the bed in a room filled-to-brim with swirling White Light. During this most precious Initiatory event, my (subtle) light-as-feather body floated within a stream of unimaginable Bliss-intensity. . .I heard myself moan a little. And when I woke up in this plane of life, Bhakti tears and heartfelt 'Thank You,' sealed this Grace-bestowed 'deal'.

Communal affirmation "of those who have adequately completed the injunctive and apprehensive strands," (Ken Wilber quote) is important to me:
Plotinus wrote: "You can only apprehand the Infinite by a faculty that is superior to reason." & "In this state of absorbed contemplation, there is no longer any question of holding an object in view; the vision is such that seeing and seen are one; object and act of vision have become identical."

I named Sri Aurobindo my 'primary spiritual peer', and know he would recognize precisely what this type of *Kwan Yin* Initiation signifies:
"Experience is word that covers almost all happenings in yoga (but) only when something gets settled, then it is no longer an experience but part of the siddhi."
I am uniquely qualified to say that he not only embodied that Divine Power, but was (also) in direct communion with the Supreme Divine. He passed through penance to the inevitable next level of human evolution - to the Supramental plane above the mind. . .Fully Enlightened being who transcended every earthly power office to become one with the very source of all Power, Aurobindo named 'the gnostic being.' The Life Divine has a chapter on Gnostic Being: The following statement resonates with me: "The gnostic being will appear as a sign of an evolution from the consciousness of ignorance into the consciousness of Sachichidananda."

I had a couple of Soul-level encounters with him at a time cyber bullies took turn to gaslight me, and ready to stop writing altogether. On one of those occasions I became aware of a Presence next to me: he wore white and heard him say (telepathic communication) "have courage, keep going".
Another time he uttered: "I am with you, we are working together." *I know precisely what this message signifies, but am choosing to keep certain 'secret things', for my ears only*

So I kept going even though the going was rough.
It was rough, but I knew I was 'in good hands.'
Once, an Angelic presence handed me a Gold Lamp and uttered: "You have nothing to worry about."
* BTW Aurobindo wrote he was 'visited' by Vivekanada for a period of 15 days to give him teaching on Supermind.*

I felt energized after seeing Aurobindo's statement:
"It is not personal greateness that I am seeking to bring down the Supermind. I care nothing for greatness or littleness in the human sense. . .If human reason regards me as a fool for trying what Krishna did not try, I do not in the least care. . .It is a question between the Divine and myself - whether it is the Divine Will, or not, whether I am sent to bring that down or open the way for its descent or at least make it more possible or not. Let all men jeer at me if they will or all Hell fall upon me if it will for my presumptions - I go till I conquer or perish."

The Rig Veda confirms this for us:
"By the Truth they hold Truth that holds all, in the power of the sacrifice in the supreme other."

Aurobindo's epic poem Savitri - Canto Four the Vision and the Boon - describes one of his (my words) 'drinking deeply from the well of All-Knowing, Elixir of Immortality', Initiations:

"Then suddenly there rose a sacred stir.
Amid the lifeless silence of the Void
In a solitude and an immensity
A sound came quivering like a loved footfall
Heard in the listening spaces of the soul:
A touch perturbed his fibers with delight.
An Influence had approached the mortal range,
A boundless Heart was near his longing heart,
A mystic Form enveloped his earthly shape
All at her contact broke from silence seal;
Spirit and body thrilled identified,
Linked in the grasp of an unspoken joy;
Mind, members, life were merged in ecstasy.
Intoxicated as with nectarous rain
His nature's passioning stretches flowed to her,
Flashing with lightnings, mad with luminous wine.
All was a limitless sea that heaved to the moon.
A divinising stream possessed his veins,
Each nerve became a burning thread of joy:
Tissue and flesh partook beatitude.
Alight, the dun unplumbed subconscient caves
Thrilled with the prescience of her longed-for thread
And filled with flickering crests and praying tongues.
Even lost in slumber, mute, inanimate
His very body answered to her power.
The One he worshipped was within him now:
Flame-pure, ethereal-tressed, a mighty Face
Appeared and lips moved by immortal words.

Aurobindo's words In The Life Divine, ring true to me:
"Everyone whose psychic being calls him to the spiritual path has a capacity for that path and can arrive at the goal if or as soon as he develops a single-pointed will towards that alone." + "The solution is certainly Divine Grace - it comes of itself intervening suddenly or with an increacing force when all is ready." +
"Experiences one's own or others' if one comes to know them, should not be talked about or made a matter of gossip. It is only if there can be some benefit or profit to other and even then if they are experiences of the past that one can speak of them."

In Gopi Krishna's words (on same theme) from book titled: The Real Nature of Mystical Experience: "All the great mystics who have written on the subject have given their own symptoms openly and plainly. That is the tradition. And from their descriptions, one can compare one's own condition."

In closing - I want to remind the reader what I share in this (particular) essay, is just a sliver of the BIG picture - something taken out of context and in need of its 'companion' blogs, such as: The River of Light Revisited, Path Ordained by God, Higher Faculties See and Hear for You, Seamless Robe of Light, etc., to get a deeper sense of what 'happens' on this (final) path without a map.

Bridging the Gap

Edit-expnaded 2023-12-31
We don't want to minimize some of the real differences between world's mystical traditions, we want to show they share certain deep structure similarities which are very much 'sustained by the evidence' grounded in the universal nature of their insights.
Jorge Ferrer is certainly not the only 'public figure' who asserts: 'The esotericist claim that mystics of all ages and places converge about metaphysical matters is a dogma that cannot be sustained by the evidence'.
Is this assertion really true? It is very much true to folks who hold this viewpoint. Does this mean, theirs is the last word? . .
Thousands of years of cross-cultural support from contemplative saints *those of us who Know Better* have the last word. Dharma Protectors know better, because the Correction introduces itself to the awakened awareness of one's eternal self-Soul (Soul? - not same as the 'evoving soul' and its preoccupations with status, success and power). The word-framing of what the Will of the Infinite 'allows' the Mystic/Seer/Siddha to See/Feel/Know, (beyond ordinary nonduality) may be different, but the contemplative conclusions have the same universal 'Flavor', no matter the wisdom tradition.

Few examples:
"I have reached the inner vision and through Thy Spirit in me I have heard Thy Wondrous secret, through Thy mystic insight Thy has caused a spring of knowledge to well up within me, a fountain of power, pouring forth living waters, a flood of love and embracing wisdom, like the splendour of eternal light." - quote attributed to the author of Dead Sea Scrolls.

"And it came to pass in the eleven hundred and forty-first year of the incarnation of Jesus Christ, Son of God, when I was forty two years and seven months old, that the heavens opened and a blinding light of exceptional brilliance flowed through my entire brain. And it so kindled my whole heart and breast like a flame, not burning but warming. . .and suddenly I understood the meaning of the expositions of the books, that is to say of the psalter, the evangelist, and other catholic books of the Old and New Testament." - Hildegard of Bingen

"The expansion of consciousness leading to entry into transcendental regions of surpassing glory, bliss and knoowledge is a phenomenon so important that there is no other project comparable to it in the whole dominion of modern science. Whatever spiritual discipline or method of Yoga is followed, in every case of successful termination the result should be the same. This fact is amply demonstrated by the altruisitc lives led and the sublime experiences undergone by the mystics and seers of all ages and climes.
Ignorance of this fact denotes a pathetic ignorance of the spiritual literature of the world. The Rishis of the Upanishads, the founders of all faiths as also all great mystics, belonging to every country and culture, have been the co-sharers of one stupendous experience of which the basic ingredients are the same." - Gopi Krishna, Yoga Of Its Future

Reminder: "We do not found ourselves on faith alone, but on agreat ground of knowledge which we have been developing and testing all our lives. I think I can say that I have been testing day and night for years upon years more scrupulously than any scientist his theory and his method on the physical plane." & Excerpt from: The Integral Yoga: "The distinction between the Transendental, the Cosmic, the Individual Divine is not my invention, nor is it native to India or Asia - it is, on the contrary, a recognised European teaching current in the esoteric tradition of the Catholic church where it is the authorised explanation of the Trinity - Father, Son and the Holy Ghost - and it is very well known to European mystic experience. In essence it exists in all spiritual disciplines that recognise the omnipresence of the Divine - in Indian Vedantic experience and in Mahomedans even speak of not two or three but many levels of the Divine until one reaches the Supreme." + "Shankara's realisation of pure Consciousness and Being is only the first step and not the goal."- Sri Aurobindo

And in Ken Wilber's words from: A Brief History of Everything p.192:
"The basic reality of this subtle experience of interior illumination is not simply or arbitrarily constructed by culture, because these experiences occur cross-culturally, and further, in many cases the cultural background officially denies or prohibits these experiences, and yet they still happen all the time anyway." & Quote from: The Marriage of Sense and Soul - Integrating Science and Religion: "...the deep science of the interior domains, disclosed by direct evidence and data, evoked by repeatable injunctions, and open to confirmation or rejction by a community of the adequate--those deep sciences are the core of the great wisdom traditions and the core of the Great Chain, and those deep sciences of the spiritual interiors are precisely the genuine knowledge that religion, holding its head high, can bring to the integrative table."

When the Knower, Knowledge and the Known merge in Unity, there is no other desire than to: "bring down a higher spiritual light and power of a character which will make a radical change in the earth-consciousness", Sri Aurobindo's quote.

Sri Yukteswar's book titled, The Holy Science, "purpose is to show as clearly as possible that there is an essential unity in all religions; that there is no difference in the truths inculcated by the various faiths; that there is but one method by which the world, both external and internal, has evolved; and that there is but one God admitted by all scriptures."
Will add that, the Eastern mystical traditions' gods and goddesses are personifications of one's Soul Intelligences.

The Divine Will demands of us to obey the inner call of our Vocation in service to the Divine without playing the 'saviour complex' card. Reciepients of Grace are aware that 'Divine Capacities' (Divine Siddhis) are working on us, or through us in ways that are outside of our control. . .We are humanity's servants and don't wish to be seen in 'special' way. Our Testimonies/Divine Revelations are 'special'. Those of us destined to bridge the gap between humanity and Divinity share spiritual experiences to show what we 'became' and what we 'know', is Grace-given.
These communications are useful in a very specific sense:
Gopi Krishna reminds us:
"All the great mystics who have written on the subject have given their own symptoms openly and plainly. That is the tradition. And from their descriptions, one can compare one's own condition". Quote from: The Real Nature Of Mystical Experience

Inspirational note. . .

What gives us fuel, what lights our Lamp (Soul) on the spiritual journey?
Is it in the asking that one's work and creativity
fulfills the Divine Plan in some way?
Surrender to Her Desire, follow its lead.
Allow its devouring Fire burn to ashes karmic imprints.
The closer She gets to True Gnosis, the clearer the 'prognosis'.

Integrating Science & Religion

"Nobody is integrating the sciences and spiritual knowledge with Wilber's scope and integrative power", asserts Michael Murphy - and I agree.
Because this topic is important, this post will include excerpts from: The Marriage Of Sense And Soul - Integrating Science And Religion. I enjoy promoting the work of brilliant minds, and it is my sincere wish that the subtlety of meaning couched within Ken Wilber's words resonate with you:

"We have seen that philosophers of science are in wide agreement that empirical science depends for its operation upon subjective and intersubjective strucures that allow objective knowledge to emerge and stablize in the first place. Put bluntly, knowledge of sensory exteriors depends upon nonsensory interiors, interiors that are just as real and just as important as the exteriors themselves. You don't get a message on the telephone, claim the message is real but the telephone is illusory. To discredit one is to discredit the other." If sensory-oriented science is not equipped to investigate these interior domains, it nontheless cannot deny their existence without denying its own operations. It can no longer claim that the xteriors alone are real. And that, very simpply, completely undercuts what we call objection number 1 (the belief that interior domains have no reality of their own). Precisely because empirical science is forced to acknowlledge interiors, it cannot dismiss Spirit merely on the basis that Spirit is interior. The first major objection falls.
Thus, if science wishes to continue to deny Spirit, it is forced to retreat to objection number 2 and attempt to deny, not all interiors, but only certain types of interiors, because, it is claimed, these other and "disreputable" interiors--such as spiritual experience--cannot be verified. They are at best private modes of knowing; at worst, hallucinations

The notion that there exists a single, straightford "scientific method" has long been discredited. It is almost unanimously acknowledged that there is no algorithm (not set method) for generating theories from data; the very notion was part of the myth of the given. Nonetheless, most philosophers--and certainly most working scientists--have a clear enough idea of what "doing science" actually means; enough, anyway, to differentiate scientific knowledge from poetry, faith, dogma, superstition, and nonverifiable proclamations. The scientific method might be slippery, but it still manages to get a lot of work done. . .

On the one hand, "empirical" has meant experiencial in the broadest sense. To say that we have some sort of direct experiential evidence, data, or confirmation. To be an "empiricist" in this borad sense simply means to demand evidence for assertions, and noot merely to rely on dogma, faiith, or nonveribiable conjectures.
I have a great deal of sympathy for that position. In fact, using "empirical" in the broad sense of "demand for experiencial evidence," I count myself a staunch empiricist. For the fact is, there is sensory experience, mantal experience, and spiritual experience--and empiricism in the very broadest sense means that we always resort to experience to ground our assertions about any of those domains (sensoory, mental, spiritual).

Here are what I believe are three of the essential aspects of scientific inquiry--what I will also call the "three starnds of all valid knowing.
1. Instrumental injunction. This is an actual practice, an exemplar, a paradigm, an experiment, an ordinance. It is always of the form "if you want to know this, do this."
2. Direct apprehension. This is an immediate experience of the domain brough forth by the injunction; that is, a direct experience or apprehension of data (even if the data is mediated, at the moment of experience it is immediately apprehended). William James pointed out that one of the meanings of "data" is direct and immediate experience, and science ancors all of its concrete assertions in such data.
3. Communal confirmation (or rejection). This is checking of the results--the data, the evidence--with others who have adequately completed the injunctive and apprehensive starnds.

These three strands, then, will be our guide through the delicate world of the deep interiors, the within of the Kosmos, the data of the Divine, where they will help us, as they do with the exteriors, to separate the dependable from the bogus."

One Taste

In this post I am happy to include excerpts from: ONE TASTE, book penned by Ken Wilber, whose brilliance I admire very much. His over 32 books are translated into 34 languages, dealing with topics of psychology, philosophy, politics, ecology, sociology, ecology, mysticism and spiritual evolution. And, based on what I have been 'allowed' to See/Know/Feel within my deepest interiority, the She Who Stands in the Center of Holy Fires of Exalted Wisdom, bears witness to the fact his words - with regard to the post-enlightenment stages - are not the 'last word'. He is still writing and maybe will have something more to say with regard to the Final Samadhi / non-biological Soul's Liberation.

"The stages of adaptation leading from causal/nirvikalpa/nirvana to nondual One Taste (or sahaja) are knoown as post-nirvanic stages, of which three or four are usually given. There are several variations on on these stages, but they all center around constant consciousness, or the unbroken access to witnessing awareness through all three states--first as plateau, then an adaptation--and then the disappearance of witnessing into nondual One Taste--first as peak, then as a plateau, then an adaptation.

Once One Taste has been stabilized as an adaptation, the post-enlightenment stages unfold. These are said to result in bhava samadhi, ot the complete bodily translationof the human into the Divine; or, alternatively, "the complete extinction of all things into the dharmata"; or, another alternative, the achievement of a permanent light body. (See The Eye of Spirit for a discussion of post-nirvanic and post-enlightenment stages of development.)

The post-nirvanic stages (the essence of Mahayana and Vajrayana, which do not merely embrace Formlessness--nirvana--but integrate that with the entire world of Form--samsara--to result in pure nondual One Taste) have always make sense to me; and based on my own experience, I can testify to the existence to of constant consciousness and One Taste, both of them as prolonged and recurrent plateau experiences, sometimes lasting uninterruptedly 24-36 hours (although, in one case, constant consciousness persisted day and night for eleven days.). Neither is a permanenet adaptation in my case, but there are several teachers I have met who, I believe, are in such, and the literature is replete with them. All of these post-nirvanic stages inherently make sense because they are, after all, simply the stages of adapting to nonduality (the stages of integrating nirvana and samsara, Spirit and manifestation, Emptiness and Foorm). Morover, with the EEG data now being gathered by Alexander and others, we seem to have hard corroborating evidence that such stages do in fact exists.

But the pos-enlightenment stages have never made much sense to me, nor have I ever met anybody who who was believably at those stages. Those stages, as they are described, have always struck me a a holdover from magic--they always include items such as one's body going up in light, being able to perform ectraordinary miracles of transformation, etc.--none of which has any credible, reproducible evidence. As for the notion of "the extinction of all things into the Dharmata," this sounds indistinguishable from jnana or nirdoh--a regression from One Taste, not a development beyond it. I am not saying these stages do not exist; I am saying that, compared with all the other stages that the traditions offer (and that I briefly outlined above, including the post-nirvanic stages), the post-enlightenment stages have the least amount of evidence--possibly because they are so rare, possibly because they are not there."

I admire Ken Wilber's brutal honesty, his assertion which I second wholeheartedly, that: " "Soul" has come to denote, in this feeding frenzy of translative grasping, not that which is timeless in you but but that which most loudly thrashes around in time, and thus "care of the soul" incomprehensively means nothing much more than focusing intensely on your ardently separate self. Likewise, "spiritual" is on everybody's lips, but usually all it really means is any intense egoic feeling, just as "heart" has come to mean any sincere sentiment of the self-contraction." +

"...but authencity always and absolutely carries a demand and a duty: you must speak to the best of your ability, and shake the spiritual tree, and shine your headlights into the eyes of the complacent. You must let that radical realization rumble through your veins and rattle those around you.
Alas, if you fail to do so, you are betrying your own authenticity. You are hiding your true estate. You don't want to upset others because you don't want to upset yourself. You are acting in bad faith, the taste of bad infinity.""Because, you see, the alarming fact is that any relalization of depth carries a terrible burden: Those who are allowed to see are simultaneously saddled with the obligation to communicate it to others (that is the ultimate meaning of the bodhisattva vow). And therefore, if you have seen, you simply must speak out. Speak out with with compassion, or speak out with angry wisdom, or speak out with skillful means, but speak out you must. And this is a terrible burden, a horrible burden, because in any case there is no room for timidity."

The Way of the Supramental Yoga

Edit-expanded 2023-01-19. The way of the Supramental Yoga (Yogic science of interior domains disclosed by direct experiential evidence at the apex of Soul's evolution) is not graspable to the intellect and its 'intuition', or 'reasoning'. Many are under the impression that an eloquent writer, or speaker on metaphysics must be a master. The true Master knows that using spiritual language, however high-profile or alluring, is merely an assertion *not evidence of supramental wisdom* if it is not supported by Depth data's empirical evidence cross-checked with one's spiritual community of the adequate. The Yoga Master knows that: "The goal of Yoga is always hard to reach, but this one is even more difficult then any other, and it is only for those who have the call, the capacity, the willingness to face everything and every risk, even the risk of failure, and the will to progres"- in Sri Aurobindo's words from Letters On Yoga, p.545.

I second that, because my innermost being responded to the 'call' which resulted in (having) decades worth of empirical evidence of what needs to happen before one attains the final Samadhi/the Stage of Coronation into Omnciscient in all its aspects. We also know that: "Pranayam and Asanas, concentration, worship, ceremonies, religious practice are not themselves Yoga, but only a means towards Yoga." & "For what Yoga searches after is not truth of thought alone or truth of mind alone, but the dynamic truth of a living and revealing spiritual experience" - Sri Aurobindo.

The fully ascended non-biological Soul/Master/Goddess Light, knows that: "Man cannot by his own effort make himself more than man; the mental being cannot by his own unlaid force change himself into a supramental spirit. A descent of the Divine Nature can alone divinise the human receptacle".
The Living Goddess Light (Soul-Light being within one's interiority) bears witness to the fact that: "For a real transformation there must be a direct and unveiled intervention from above; there would also be necessary too a total submission and surrender of of the lower consciousness, a cessation of its insistence, a will in it for its separate law of action to be completely annuled by transformation and lose all rights over our being."
Sri Aurobindo's quote from,The Life Divine, p.956

(And) Because this happened to me, I also know that:
"This Yoga demands a full ascension of the whole lower or ordinary consciousness to join the spiritual above it and a full descent of the spiritual (eventually supramental) into the mind, life and body, to transform it. The total ascent is impossible as long as sex drive blocks the way; the descent is dangerous so long sex-drive is powerful in the vital."

The following excerpts are from Letters On Yoga, volume 23
"One must be prepared to renounce at the higher call what are of as the natural affections. Even if they are kept at all, it can only be with a change which transforms them altogether. But whether they are to be renounced or kept and changed must be decided not by personal desires but by the truth above. All must be given up to the Supreme Master of the Yoga. The power that works in this yoga is of through-going character and tolerates in the end nothing great or small that is an obstacle to the Truth and its realisation."

"Regarding your question about complementary soul is a camouflage with which the mind tries to cover the sentimental, sensational and physical wants of the lower vital nature. It is that vital nature in you which puts the question and would like an answer reconciling its desires and demands with the call of the true soul in you. But it must not expect a sanction for any such incongruous reconciliation from here. The way of the Supramental Yoga is clear; it lies not through concession to these things--not, in your case, through satisfaction, under a spiritual cover if possible, of its craving for its comforts and gratifications of a domestic and conjugal comforts and life and the enjoyments of the ordinary emotional I desires and physical passion -- but through the purification and transformation of the forces which those movements pervert and abuse. Not these human and animal demands, but the divine Ananda which is above and beyond them and which the indulgence of those degraded forms would prevent from descending, is the great thing, and the aspiration of the vital being must demand in the sadhak." All quotes in Sri Aurobindo's words.

The genuine Clear Light-Heart Brahmacharya lineage has no room for magical and mythic thinkers, no room for tantric sex, it is not for the fainthearted, and definitely not for the proud one who truly believes that reading about this subject automaticaly 'upgrades' its mind to same spiritual status as the one who writes about it from the 'embodied' perspective.

Sri Aurobindo reminds us: "There are three things in the vital nature which are very great obstacles in Yoga--there are many others besides but they are of minor importance. 1. Lust. 2. Pride and Vanity - that "I am great saddhak", etc.. 3. Ambition for success or greed for money."
-Excerpt from Evening Talks with Sri Aurobindo recorded by A. B. Purani p.41.

Vivekananda was Sri Aurobindo's teacher and when asked about Brahmacharya, asserted: "One must completely mould one's life in solitude must be perfect renunciation and must preserve Brahmacharya without a break. (*this happened to me 'naturally' & I knew I was in a hands of a Perfect Power*) That power may come to all. That power comes to him who observes unbroken Brahmacharya for a period of twelve years, with the sole object of realising God." -Excerpt from an interview with Priy Nath Sinaha.
And this: "The Brahmacharin must be sexually pure in thought, word, and deed."

The supremely realised (immortal) Soul (or Siddha who attained genuine bhava Samadhi) bears witness to the fact we ride the Self-Existing Bliss/Ananda wave without ceasing. . .We know that the Supreme Kundalini Goddess 'rescues' the Luminous Inner Dweller from its lower nature (by burning all karmic imprints to crisp), and when the process is complete, She moves freely within Love's Essence/Bliss.

Spiritual ecstasy is not generated by smelling pretty flowers, by watching kittens play, or glorious sunsets. These types of 'good feelings' are generated by 'happy hormones'.
Firmly established -and flowing wituot ceasing from the Crown chakra Shakti Light into world's hologram via subtle planes *not as a concept, or metaphor, but actually* Erotic Potency / Amrit / Soma / Elixir of the Gods, is a type of Eroticism the surface mind cannot comprehend. I wouldn't know this either, if Karma didn't place me exactly where I needed to be. . .And once my supramental intelligence came on line in its fullness, I realized I was born with unbroken continuity of awareness.
I was Soul-guided to check out Sri Aurobindo's work *which I resisted as I was convinced, 'what's the point, I never even aspired to be 'spiritual'* and when I did, I was shocked to discover, "I already know this, because this happened to me!". He confirmed for me that: "the higher supramental consciousness transforms sexual potency into the true force of Ananda."

Depth data's empirical evidence viewed through a prism already familiar to the surface mind, unconsciously blocks anything which does not support its highly invested needs and biases, thinks we are delusional and in urgent need of help.
This is why those of us who know better have a moral duty to CORRECT the surface mind's boast. . .Such as: 'there is nothing to attain because everything is THAT and everyone is already enlightened, because they don't know that the: "Divine is more than this outer manifestation and cannot be known by it alone. In the vital we may fall into the error of accepting what is dark and imperfect on same terms as that which makes for the light and divine perfection. There may be many other consequent erros also." Sri Aurobindo.

I will never tire of promoting/supporting the written work of noble souls, such as *my spiritual peer* Aurobindo, who affirmed for me that: "We do not found ourselves on faith alone, but on a great ground of knowledge which we have been developing and testing all our lives. I think I can say that I have been testing day and night for years upon years more scrupulously than any scientist his theory and his method on the physical plane. That's why I'm not alarmed by the aspect of the world around me or disconcerted by the often successful fury of the adverse Forces who increase in their rage as the Light comes nearer and nearer to the filed of earth and Matter."
* Closing word: I had few encouters with Sri A - once we stood shoulder to shoulder (he wore white) and telepathically encouraged me to 'keep going'- this happened at a time I was ready to stop writing because angry people's word-attacks and their nasty/raging glory thought-forms were relentless. ?Are thoughtforms and their nasty energy, real? Sri Aurobindo confirmed for me they are:
"Through the faculty of Prakamaya and Vyapati, one gains knowledge of the present states of mind, feeling, sensations etc., of others, as well as communicate what is alive in us." This type of Intelligence is called 'Divine Siddhis' *which are activated in the superconscious field of the mind, and are expression of Soul's genius in human life*.
